Very accurate, all-purpose machine to ream the guides and cut the valve seats. Triple air-float centering system and powerful spindle with built-in motor.
Highly versatile machine producing an accurate machining of the valve seats from the smallest to the biggest diameter.
This machine can repair any existing engine, from the microengine up to the big stationary engine. The light-weight floating assembly can machine cylinder heads with guide diameters as small as 4 mm ( 0.16’’).
A 2.2 KW built-in motor-spindle with maximum torque from 40 to 385 rpm and a maximum speed of 840 rpm. Stator cooled by heat sink Rigid heavy duty motorspindle of 3.15 in (80 mm) diameter for machining without chatter. Get the best machining accuracy thanks to a high precision tooth rack and a whole spindle assembly rigid and concentric to the valve guide. ISO 30 spindle taper welcoming any tool holder from our valve seat tooling range. Spindle locking by electronic device for tool changing.
Our triple air cushion and built-in motor spindle decreases dramatically the free floating parts weight during centering which improves speed and accuracy. It does automatically align each valve guide regardless of any misalignment or angular deflection thanks to live pilot technology.
This function allows the spindle speed a permanent oscillation around the nominal speed, in order to snap machining shattering when the cutting profile is too large.
Air floating tables, cylinder heads up to 350 kgs can be moved back and forth without any effort and then locked by two powerful pneumatic jacks.
The machine frame is equiped with LED lightning for an increased light ratio and a better energy saving.
Graduated vacuum tester from 0 to -1 bar, linked to a vacuum generator on one end and to a foam pad on the other, in order to make a fast valve sealing check with the valve mounted on the valve seat, before disassembling the cylinder head from the machine.
The machine is supplied with a universal clamping system allowing to setup and clamp cylinder heads with both vertical and inclined valve guides. Cylinder heads can rest straightly on parallels or stand in the tilting cradles. Several types of spacers or clamping bars are supplied to adapt the most common cylinder heads. The cradle can tilt from +42° to -15° from vertical.
Spindle control buttons located just behind the handwheel to change with ease the spindle speed rotation, switch spindle direction or reset the depth control measurement. Digital depth control accurate until 0.0004 in (0.01 mm). Displayed in inch or millimeter Two switch buttons to fastly activate both sphere and cylinder cushions, or lock them. Large handwheel for a better control of machining depth.
